Wixom, Mich. – The Martin “King of the Street” Camaros – including the 757-horsepower supercharged Martin SS 427 – will be featured at the 19th annual Camaro Superfest, at Riverside Park, in Ypsilanti, Mich. The display will include several of the unique 2010 Camaros, which include performance, appearance and handling upgrades.
The Martin SS 427 is capable of 0-60 mph times of 3.5 seconds and quarter-mile ETs of 11.2 seconds at 127 mph. Examples in the hands of enthusiastic customers across the country describe the understated and elegantly appointed cars as “ultimate sleepers,” with explosive performance contained in a tasteful, tailored package.
“We believe our cars are setting new standards of high performance from the east coast to the west coast – and around the world,” said Harold Martin, president of Martin Technologies. “During a recent event in Los Angeles, the Martin SS 427 out-performed a Ferrari.”
The Martin cars will be part of the country’s premier all-Camaro celebration, which brings together hundreds of examples from all generations of the car’s history.
“We’re thrilled to join the Superfest this year,” said Martin. “We invite all enthusiasts to visit our display, check out our cars and talk with our specialists to see what we can do for them.”
In addition to display vehicles, Martin will offer cold-air induction systems and custom exhaust tips for 2010 Camaros.
