In 1996, former automotive engineer Harold Martin created Martin Motorsports with a vision of expanding his OEM knowledge to the performance industry.
Harold Martin a prominent engineer with 10 world patents to his credit was eager to implement new innovations in the Motorsports industry. Those innovations have made their way into many race programs which have led to Class Records, Wins and a Championship. Harold also designed the first EFI engine in the Pro Modified class, and became the first to Win with Electronic Fuel Injection.
Building on this knowledge, Team Martin has become well-respected within both the automotive and motorsports industries and has been a keynote speaker at numerous engineering and motorsports conferences. Martin even earned his nickname – the “EFI Wizard” – from sharing his expertise with industry leaders.
In 2000, the company added Martin Technologies to meet the demand for transportation and automotive technology services. In 2002, Martin added a state of art facility that specializes in automotive programs, powertrain design, development, testing, validation, performance packages and professional race teams.
